A name with a history.

TRMD began with two letters that have long held a personal meaning: TR.

During her years in Internal Medicine residency, Dr. Tanya Rae came to be known simply as “TR” among her co-residents and colleagues. The name belonged to a particular season of her life: long days, difficult cases, shared responsibilities, and the friendships that made those years memorable.

Years later, after completing her training in Dermatology, she began to imagine a practice of her own.

 

When it came time to name it, she returned to those two letters.

 

TR for Tanya Rae.

MD for Medicine and Dermatology.

 

The two disciplines that shaped her training and the foundation on which the clinic was built.

Together, they became TRMD.

 

But a name can hold more than its letters suggest. For TRMD, it carries the people and experiences that came before it: the mentors who taught her, the colleagues who stood beside her and the patients who continue to give meaning to the work.

 

TRMD was created as an extension of that journey, a practice grounded in medical knowledge, careful attention and genuine respect for each person who walks through its doors.

What began as a nickname became the name of a practice.

 

A small part of her story, made into a place to care for others.

 

And so, TRMD continues.
